X-Splash at Kärcher Center

Recently the brand new Kärcher Center in Rotterdam/Schiedam opened, and we are proud that they have chosen the Trime X-Splash X-2 mobile wash-bay! This advanced system contributes to their innovative facilities and has been adapted to perfectly match the style of the new Kärcher building. The walls of the wash bay are sprayed in Kärcher's signature color to create a sleek unity with their products and furnishings.

Versatile and maintenance-free
The Trime X-Splash X-2 is designed to be practically maintenance-free. The only thing required from time to time is to flush the drains when they become dirty. In cases where a water purification system is included, the filters should be changed about every 4-6 months, depending on use, and the purification system cleaned.

Kärcher's unique use of the wash bay
At the new Kärcher Center, the X-Splash is used to demonstrate their pressure washers and for rinsing dirty machines. Because Kärcher has their own water treatment systems, this facility was specifically supplied without Trime's standard water treatment.

Why Mobile?
A frequently asked question about the Trime X-Splash is why these wash-bays are called “mobile.” The answer is simple: the units can be set up and taken down quickly. This makes them perfect for companies that have rental premises, where placing a concrete wash-bay is often not allowed. In addition, they are useful for organizations that do not yet know whether the current location of the wash bay will be the final spot.

Water conservation as the greatest asset
One of the biggest advantages of our mobile wash-bays is the standard water treatment (if required), which allows water to be filtered and reused. This results in significant savings in water consumption, which is certainly advantageous with the current cost of water in the Netherlands, which averages €1.75 per m³.
